About RSA

After the 1994 Genocide, women living in the United Kingdom decided to start a support group, Rwanda Sisterhood Association (RSA), to bring together people uprooted from their motherland and give them space in which to develop social cohesion and work together as contributing citizens. This is particularly important to many but especially for Rwandans whose lives had been badly fractured by the genocide.

Mama Pack

“One of our main projects is 'Mama Pack'. This is a pack of basic needs for expectant women in Africa to increase the safety of their delivery and also to protect their newborn infant.
We currently have sent hundreds of Mama Packs to Rwanda and intend to do the same to many other countries in Africa.
